Our mission is to provide nourishing, delicious, and exciting food that reflects and communicates our values of environmental and economic sustainability, celebrates our local food culture, and encourages conversation. All meals provided by Better World 2012 are entirely vegetarian, eliminating the higher carbon emissions associated with meat production. Seasonal, local produce has been incorporated into the menus whenever possible. We’ve invested in some of Providence’s most exciting small-businesses by featuring food from Amos House’s More Than a Meal Catering, AS220 Foo(d), Narragansett Creamery, New Harvest Coffee Roasters, Fancheezical, Radish, and Rocket Fine Street Food. At each of our energizer breaks we are showcasing a local organization that is using food as a vehicle for social good.
We encourage you to look out for information about all of our vendors at meals and breaks, and engage with others over the meal you’re sharing!
